The Massachusetts 401(k) CORE Plan for Small Nonprofits

Most people agree that offering employees a retirement plan is an important

and effective way to help attract, retain and reward key talent. Studies have shown

that employees are much more likely to save through a workplace retirement plan

than on their own ― and they look to their employers to provide one.

The Commonwealth appreciates all the great work we as nonprofits do across the

state, and they also know it can be a challenge for small nonprofits to find a quality,

affordable retirement plan. That’s why they created the Massachusetts 401(k)

CORE Plan. If you have 20 or fewer W-2 employees, this Plan may be available to you.
