Resilience Center of Franklin County (previously NELCWIT)
will offer an overview on power and control, abusive behaviors, and strategies for supporting elder survivors of relationship violence. This presentation will also address the compounded impacts of long-term abuse (e.g. emotional, financial, and legal abuse
in addition to physical harm, coercion, or intimidation), and how to support survivors whose safest option is to remain with the person causing harm.
